Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active LPN license.
• CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term geriatric care preferred.
• English reading/writing and verbal communication proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, and treatments.
• Record time spent on treatments in the medication/treatment record.
• Ensure proper storage and security of prescription drugs.
• Notify physician of refusals, non-compliance, or adverse reactions.
• Maintain tidy medication cart, fridge, and storage areas.
• Dispose of sharps safely and properly.
• Enter key information into EMR and systems.
• Apply infection control and safety policies, and respond to emergencies.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
