Job summary

Cascades at Orchard Park in Orem, UT is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN day shifts. This role offers flexible, on-call scheduling with day shifts (6 AM–6 PM) and no weekend requirements, allowing you to stay active in nursing without a fixed schedule.

You will order and manage medications and supplies, administer treatments, monitor residents, and document care accurately. We value compassionate, professional nursing for geriatric residents and provide training and ongoing

Responsibilities

• Order and manage medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed.
• Prepare and administer treatments and medications as ordered by physicians.
• Notify physicians and/or family when there is a change in resident condition.
• Provide nursing services such as tube feedings, suction, catheterization, wound care, dressing changes, packs, and irrigations.
• Monitor seriously ill residents with continuous observation.
• Advocate for residents and align care with care plans and wishes.
• Complete documentation and charting accurately and timely.
• Deliver compassionate, professional care to geriatric residents requiring 24/7 support.

What We Offer:

• Low Commitment: Required to pick up at least 1 shift per month

What You'll Do:

• Order and manage medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed

• Prepare and administer treatments and medications as ordered by physicians

• Notify physicians and/or family members when there is a change in resident condition

• Deliver professional nursing services such as tube feedings, suction, catheterization, wound care, dressing changes, packs, and irrigations as necessary

• Provide continuous observation and monitoring of seriously ill residents

• Advocate for residents, ensuring that care provided by the team aligns with resident care plans and personal wishes

• Accurately complete required documentation and charting in a timely manner

• Provide compassionate, professional nursing care to geriatric residents requiring 24/7 support
