Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active license as an LPN.
• Experience in long term geriatric nursing care preferred.
• Must have CPR certification.
• Must communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications and treatments.
• Record time spent on treatments accurately.
• Ensure proper storage of prescription drugs.
• Notify physician on medication treatment compliance.
• Maintain medication storage areas clean and organized.
• Dispose of sharps correctly.
• Input key information into EMR systems.
• Implement infection control and safety policies.
• React to emergency situations appropriately.
