Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate with an accredited LPN diploma.
• Current, valid North Carolina LPN license.
• Willing to work as charge nurse and cover emergencies as needed.
• Ability to provide quality geriatric nursing and follow doctors' orders.
• CPR certification required yearly.

Responsibilities

• Assists in direction of nursing services under RN supervision.
• Delegates duties to nursing staff and monitors performance under RN supervision.
• Observes patients for signs of adverse change or reactions.
• Notifies attending physician of emergencies and updates orders as instructed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
