Baxter Health in Mountain Home, AR is hiring a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit. This role focuses on nursing care for adults with acute psychiatric needs on a 19-bed geriatric unit, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and day shifts.

RN supervision and adherence to safety standards are required. Responsibilities include collaborating with the treatment team, monitoring patient conditions, and supporting individualized care plans for patients aged 55+.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Arkansas LPN license or compact state license in good standing.
• BLS certification required; Safety Care De-Escalation certification within first 3 months.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care per physician orders and individualized treatment plans to achieve patient well-being.
• Monitor patient safety and maintain a therapeutic milieu on the unit.
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team and participate in education for patients.
• Support patients during psychotherapy, activity therapy, and daily provider visits.
