Job summary
The Blossoms in Rogers, AR is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team. You will round to assess residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs and collaborate with physicians and the nursing staff.
Qualified candidates hold an AR LPN license and have at least 2 years of long-term care experience, with strong organizational and leadership skills. Weekend Baylor pay applies when available.
Qualifications
- Must be an LPN and licensed in Arkansas.
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience in long-term care.
- Strong organizational, judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
Responsibilities
- Observe and evaluate physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
- Prepare and administer medications as charted.
- Administer treatments as prescribed.
- Consult with physicians when needed.
- Communicate with the director of nursing and staff.

This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents
- Prepares and administers medications charts as required
- Administers treatments
- Consults with physicians
- Communicates with director of nursing and staff
- Long term care experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing in a long term care environment
Must be an Licensed practical nurse in good standing and currently licensed in Arkansas
Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills
