Job summary

Hospital Authority of Jenkins County is seeking an LPN to join the On Track Senior Behavioral Health Unit. You will work with the RN to provide nursing care to acutely ill adult and geriatric patients, maintain high standards of care, and support performance improvement efforts.

The role reports to the Charge Nurse or Program Director and includes a $2,500 hiring bonus for newly hired LPNs. LPN licensure in the state is required, ACLS preferred, with at least two years of psychiatric nursing

Qualifications

• Licensure as LPN in the state. ACLS preferred.
• Two plus years psychiatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continual delivery of high-quality nursing care.
• Adopt and implement innovative nursing practices to improve our facility.
• Ensure nursing staff remains in compliance with professional development and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a healthy, collaborative team environment.
• Mentor the MHT and other clinical staff.
• Provide direct care to patients, including social and emotional needs, supervising medication schedules and evaluating progress.
