Job summary

Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our nursing team. The LPN will assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care under the direction of a Medical Provider, while upholding department standards and policies.

Ideal candidates show compassion, strong work ethic, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent patient care; CPR certification and Kentucky LPN licensure are required or compact state licensure allowed.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN program
• CPR certification required
• Licensed Practical Nurse in Kentucky or a compact state
• Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred

Job description

The LPN works under the direction of an Medical Provider. Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, within the objectives, standards, and policies of the department and within the parameters of his or her preparation. Cooperates with the members of the nursing and medical staffs and other hospital departments.

This person must be a positive professional, have a strong work ethic, work well with others, and have compassion for our patients at all times.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact states
• CPR certification required
