Job summary

Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our nursing team. You will assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care under the direction of a Medical Provider, collaborating with the nursing and medical staff.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and able to work well with others. CPR certification, graduation from an accredited LPN program, and Kentucky or compact-state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse license valid in Kentucky or a compact state.

Works under the direction of an Medical Provider. Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, within the objectives, standards, and policies of the department and within the parameters of his or her preparation. Cooperates with the members of the nursing and medical staffs and other hospital departments.

This person must be a positive professional, have a strong work ethic, work well with others, and have compassion for our patients at all times.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact states if you are a LPN
• CPR certification required
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Prior experience in clinicalsetting is preferred.
