Job summary

Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community in Asheville, NC is seeking an LPN to join the care team. The role administers medications, assists with wound care, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to implement comprehensive care plans for residents.

Responsibilities include vitals, orders management, documentation, and providing emotional support to residents and families. CPR certification and active LPN license are required, with life-long learning encouraged through a strong CE

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Administer medications and assist with wound care

• Coordinate and collaborate alongside an interdisciplinary clinical team to implement and assess a comprehensive plan of care
• Provide encouragement, emotional support, and communication for residents and their loved ones
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to your team
• Assist with resident care needs
• Provide appropriate documentation

Position Requirements:

• Active LPN License
• CPR Certified
