Job summary

Extended Care is seeking dedicated LPNs for an evening shift (2:30-11:00pm) to deliver compassionate, quality-oriented care in a supportive facility. The role involves supervising nursing assistants, maintaining records, and administering medications within established policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants.
• Complete required record-keeping on resident admission, discharge, and transfer; document per policy.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician.
• Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

LPN Requirements:

• Valid Nursing License as required by the state.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Compliance with the state’s Health Care Worker Background Check requirements.
• Must be able to relate positively and favorably to our residents and visitors.
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.

• Must be energetic, professional, and reliable.

As a skilled, compassionate LPN, you will:

• Direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants.
• Complete required record‑keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies.
• Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
