Job summary

Vitality Living Hendersonville is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Hendersonville community. This role supports resident care and medication administration, while coordinating with physicians and the Wellness Director for care plans.

Associates degree or higher is preferred. Active LPN license and CPR certification are required, with English communication skills essential for team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state health-related requirements.
• Maintain current professional license and CPR certification if currently LPN/LVN.
• Maintain any other certifications as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administrate or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments.
• Collect, store, and transport specimens for laboratory studies.
• Communicate with physicians via telephone, fax, and Physician Communication forms.
• Ensure physician orders, laboratory reports, and data are scanned and filed in resident charts.
• Assist in development and revision of service plans; inform Wellness Director of resident needs and approaches.
• Perform other duties as directed by Wellness Director.
