Fairmont of Westlake in Westlake, OH is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Montessori-Inspired Living community. You will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants under RN oversight, ensuring the highest quality of care in a safe, respectful environment.

We value a positive attitude toward the elderly, adherence to long-term care regulations, and strong English communication.

Qualificações

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a LPN.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must show ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner
• Must speak and understand English
• Previous experience in a nursing capacity desirable
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws
• Knowledge of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care desirable
• Positive attitude toward the elderly

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct nursing care to residents as directed and supervised.
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Ensure the highest degree of quality care and patient safety in accordance with standards.
• Follow directions from the RN, Director of Nursing Services and Administration to maintain compliance.

General Purpose

To provide direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of Certified Nursing Assistants in accordance with federal, state and local standards governing the facility, and as may be directed by the RN, Director of Nursing Services and Administration, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.
