Job summary

HumanGood's Hillside community in McMinnville, Oregon is seeking an LVN/LPN to provide skilled nursing care and resident support. The role focuses on promoting rehabilitation and independence, with occasional supervision of caregivers and collaboration with the care team.

Shifts available: Full-time, Thursday-Saturday 6p-6a. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and current LVN/LPN license, CPR certification, and preferred experience in senior care or skilled nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school and licensed LVN/LPN to practice in applicable state.
• Senior Care, Skilled Nursing, Hospital or Rehabilitation experience.
• Proficient computer skills to complete documentation, review EHRs and communicate with team.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing or caregiver experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops awareness of residents’ interests and needs and assists residents to maximize rehabilitation, independence and participation.
• Provides care and assistance in the Skilled Nursing arena; may supervise caregivers providing resident services.
• Plans and implements nursing services to provide quality care.

Description

Under general supervision, actively incorporates our “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.” Develops awareness of residents’ interests and needs, and assists residents to maximize their rehabilitation, independence and participation. Will provide care and assistance of residents in the Skilled Nursing arena and on limited occasions may supervise caregivers providing resident services; effectively plans and implements nursing services to provide quality care.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school and currently licensed as an LVN/LPN to practice in applicable state.

Experience/Training:
