Job summary

Vitality Living Elizabethtown Community is seeking an LPN to join our team in Elizabethtown, KY. You will administer or assist with medication administration, collect specimens, and coordinate with physicians to ensure accurate orders and charting.

You will help develop service plans, inform the Wellness Director of resident needs, and perform other duties as directed by leadership. A current LPN/LVN license and CPR certification are required, with strong English communication skills essential

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.
• Maintain current professional license and CPR certification if currently LPN/LVN.
• Maintain any other certifications as required by state or provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administrate or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments
• Collect, store, and ensure transport of certain specimens for laboratory studies
• Communicate with physicians via telephone, fax, and Physician Communication forms
• Ensure physician orders, laboratory reports, and other data is scanned and filed in resident charts
• Assist in the development and revision of service plans. Inform Wellness Director of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches
• Perform other duties as directed by Wellness Director
