Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking an LPN Charge Nurse for our Baypoint Village Community in Florida. The role involves administering or assisting with medication administration, coordinating resident care, and communicating with physicians to ensure accurate orders and proper records.

Qualifications

• Administrate or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments.
• Collect, store, and transport specimens for laboratory studies.
• Communicate with physicians via telephone, fax, and Physician Communication forms.
• Ensure physician orders, laboratory reports, and other data is scanned and filed in resident charts.
• Assist in the development and revision of service plans. Inform Wellness Director of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches.
• Perform other duties as directed by Wellness Director.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.
• Maintain current professional license and CPR certification if currently LPN/LVN.
• Maintain any other certifications as required by state or provincial regulations
