Inlet Coastal Resort in Murrells Inlet, SC is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our overnight care team as Floor Nurse. The role oversees resident care, medication administration, documentation, and changes in condition during the shift.

Ideal candidates hold an active SC LPN license, CPR certification, and 3–5 years of nursing experience, with strong clinical judgment and leadership in senior care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN license in South Carolina.
• 3-5 years of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong medication administration and documentation skills.
• Dependable transportation and a record of reliable, punctual attendance.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or senior-care experience preferred.
• Experience with individuals living with dementia preferred.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor residents and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Complete nursing assessments and required clinical documentation.
• Communicate resident updates to providers, families, leadership, and care team members.
• Ensure care plans and physician orders are followed.
• Provide direction and support to CNAs and caregivers during the shift.
• Respond to resident incidents, emergencies, and clinical concerns.
• Review medication and treatment records for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with regulations, infection-control practices, and community policies.
• Promote a safe, respectful, person-centered environment.

The Floor Nurse oversees resident care throughout the shift and helps ensure that medications, treatments, documentation, and changes in condition are addressed accurately and promptly. This position requires strong clinical judgment, organization, and the ability to provide calm leadership in a senior-living environment.
