Job summary

Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Clinton Retirement Community to provide compassionate, resident-centered care and support the care team.

You will perform rounds, monitor conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with families to communicate updates and care plans. Weekend and holiday coverage are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in the state of South Carolina.
• 1–2 years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, individualized care according to residents’ care plans.
• Perform regular rounds and monitor residents’ conditions throughout the shift.
• Supervise and direct other care staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families about care updates.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Complete documentation accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Notify physicians and families of significant resident condition changes.
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain clinical competency and uphold professional standards.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and according to resident needs.
