Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital is hiring an LPN to join a fast-paced Float Pool, providing care across units and adapting to changing environments. You will work rotating day/night shifts and support diverse patient populations.

You will collect data, implement care plans, administer medications, perform labs, educate patients and families, and participate in orientation. Ohio LPN licensure and BLS certification are required, with preferred 1 year of patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program.
• Current Ohio licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Collect, document and report patient data and observations to the RN.
• Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to revisions.
• Administer medications and observe patients for adverse reactions.
• Perform routine laboratory tests.
• Educate patients and family members.
• Participate in orientation of new employees.
