Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital as an LPN on the Med/Surg 5th Floor. The 22-bed unit handles general, urology and gynecologic care. Shifts are days from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

You will collect and report patient data, implement care plans, administer medications, perform routine tests, educate patients and families, and assist with staff orientation within the Cleveland Clinic system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program.
• Current Ohio licensure as an LPN.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, document and report patient data and observations to the RN.
• Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to revisions.
• Administer medications and observe for adverse reactions.
• Perform routine laboratory tests.
• Educate patients and family members.
• Assist with orientation of new employees.
