Job summary

Trinity Health in Grand Rapids is seeking an Ambulatory Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time daytime schedule in our Downtown Family Practice. You will support nursing staff, manage patient flow, triage, and implement clinical protocols, while performing clerical tasks and ensuring efficient office operations.

The ideal candidate holds an LPN license in Michigan, is current with BLS/CPR, and is committed to compassionate, patient-centered care within a values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved accredited LPN program.
• Current Practical Nurse license in Michigan, in good standing.
• BLS/CPR certified through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Room setup and patient preparation; take vitals.
• Triage, provide nursing consultation and perform follow-up and care coordination.
• Draw blood, administer injections and immunizations.
• Perform office tests and handle administrative duties.

Position Summary

Responsible for the successful functioning of the nursing support staff in the ambulatory/physician's office. Assists the Site Manager with ensuring the office activities are consistent with the corporate goals and objectives. Promotes the team approach to health care. Responsible for patient flow, nursing procedures, triage and protocols. Performs duties as delegated within the scope of education and validated competencies. Performs clerical functions and environmental duties to support team objectives.
