Job summary

Hillsborough Comprehensive Treatment Center in Hillsborough, NC seeks an LPN Dispensing Nurse for per diem MAT operations in our opioid treatment program. You will dispense medications, document patient responses, and support the Medical Director and nursing team.

This role focuses on accurate dosing, urine collection, and timely charting within a recovery environment. Morning shifts are stable and limited to mornings/early afternoons, with on-site duties and a commitment to compassionate,

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment program, or addiction recovery field.
• There must be no history of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of three years before employment.

Responsibilities

• Works under the supervision of the Medical Director and the Clinic Director.
• Maintains practical nursing professional standards of care.
• Prepares and administers medication as ordered by the Medical Director or Program Physician accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintains accurate accounting of all medication received and dispensed.
• Charts medication administration in nurse's notes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Documents nursing care provided and maintains records related to patient progress and activities accurately.
• Responsible for safekeeping of all medication stock and records required by DEA, FDA, and ADP.
• Dedicates a minimum of 90% of regularly scheduled work hours to administration of medication; 10% to other activities.
• Responsible for urine collection and processing, reading test results as ordered, and completing all related forms.
