Job summary

The Arc Macon is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care for individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illnesses within the agency. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse and perform licensed duties, including medication administration and wound care, while coordinating with families and staff to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities include documenting MARs, reviewing ISP, attending ISP meetings if applicable, and supporting nutrition plans

Qualifications

• Georgia LPN license required.
• BCLS and CPI certifications required.
• NCIC/DBHDD clearance.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance.
• Maintains current driver's license if doing transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor individuals' reactions to medication or treatment and report to the RN to modify the plan.
• Work under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Report to the registered nurse.
• Perform specific nursing duties as assigned.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Support individuals in planning nutritious meals and special diets.
• Cooperate with family members regarding reasonable requests.
