Job summary

Semrhi is seeking an LPN to assist the Provider in direct patient care and to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families across age groups. The role requires readiness to float to various clinic locations and to support efficient, quality patient care.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under supervision, room turnover, timely patient preparation, and accurate documentation of vital signs and medical records.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Mississippi Board of Nursing License.
• Current CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and duties with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and prepare reports.
• Must be flexible and able to float to other clinic locations as needed.
• Must pass background check, drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of the provider.
• Return examination rooms to proper order after each patient.
• Prepare patients in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Demonstrate ability to access and assist patients in emergency situations.
• Keep exam rooms and lab neat, clean, stocked with supplies.
• Effectively teach and document patient education.
• Document complete and accurate vital signs.
• Document information in the medical record.
• Assess patients according to symptoms.
• Follow the Provider's orders promptly.
• Return patient calls in a timely manner.
• Understand and assist recall and follow-up procedures.
• Prepare reports and follow-up as necessary.
• Demonstrate flexibility in job duties.
• Document appropriate information in the EMR.
• Operate clinical equipment.
• Provide caring and compassionate patient care.
• Communicate effectively with the provider.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and PPE usage.
• Float to other clinic locations as needed to support operations.
• Anticipate and prepare supplies for procedures.
• Perform in-house testing proficiently.
• Assist with medical record scanning as needed.
• Complete required IT/Security trainings before deadline.
