Job summary

LCMC Health seeks an experienced LPN for the clinic to assist the medical provider in delivering care to patients. The LPN will participate in clinic flow, prepare patients for exams, document care, and ensure patient privacy during visits.

Responsibilities include measuring vital signs, administering medications per policy, and performing non-complex procedures under supervision. Strong teamwork and adherence to infection control standards are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse (LPN) with current Louisiana license.
• Ability to perform routine clinical tasks and assist in patient care under supervision.
• Competence in documenting care and maintaining patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Participates in care of patients under supervision and in collaboration with healthcare team.
• Measures and records vital signs and reports abnormal values.
• Prepares patients for examination, treatment and procedures.
• Observes patients for signs of abuse/neglect and reports per policy.
• Performs non-complex procedures; administers medications as ordered.
• Navigates EMR to access results and schedule follow-ups.
