Job summary

00 RHA Health Services, LLC in Macon, GA is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day rotation from 7a to 7p. You will provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, under supervision of a RN, and support medication administration and patient advocacy.

This role requires an accredited LPN program graduate, an active nursing license, CPR certification, and strong communication skills to collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, people supported and families.
• Must work independently, be organized, and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering nursing services to persons supported.
• Administer medications and treatments or assist with medication administration.
• Assist with scheduling preventative and routine medical appointments.
• Conduct medication closest assessments and observe for abnormal findings.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Advocate for people supported and promote community health.
