Job summary

RHA Health Services in Rome, GA is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (IDD LPN) for day shifts in a group home setting. The role provides holistic nursing care, collects health data, coordinates medical care, and supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health or substance use needs.

The position is full-time, 7am–7pm, with rotating weekends off. Requires active LPN license and CPR certification, strong team communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with IDD.
• Observe, gather health data, and report to the RN.
• Coordinate preventative and routine medical care.
• Document nursing care provided.
• Assist physicians with on-site clinics.
• Provide health trainings to unlicensed personnel.
• Conduct medication pass observations.
• Perform quality assurance checks on health tasks.
• Report abnormal findings to physician.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, and the Interdisciplinary Team.
