Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Ohio to assist in assessing, planning, and delivering care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This is a full-time, 40-hour week, daytime onsite role with a $2,000 sign-on bonus (taxable).

Candidates must be Ohio-licensed LPNs, have Ohio Medication Card or OOPNES/NAPNES, BLS, and basic computer skills; phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with an active Ohio LPN license.
• Certification: Ohio Medication Card, OOPNES or NAPNES.
• BLS certification required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Basic computer operation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in educating patients and families under RN supervision.
• Perform other tasks to promote efficiency and care quality.
• Contribute to delivery of safe, effective patient care.
