Unity Psychiatric Care in Huntsville, AL seeks an LPN to provide nursing care within our hospital's behavioral health unit. You will perform assessments, administer medications, document orders, and collaborate with physicians under CMS and licensure standards.

Requires completion of an LPN program and current LPN license; six months hospital experience preferred; CPI and CPR certifications are preferred; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours.

Formación

• Completion of a Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
• Current State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience in a hospital, long term care facility or other health care institution.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise all resident/patient treatments.
• Assist physicians and the Director of Nursing in the treatment and examination of patients.
• Document nurses’ notes, physicians’ orders, discharge plans, dietary changes, reports and studies.
