Job summary

Unity Psychiatric Care in Martin, TN is seeking an LPN to provide nursing services across hospital settings, supervise treatments, and support physicians. The role requires documenting care, administering medications, and handling treatments and procedures as ordered.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Program is required.
• Current State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license is required.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience in a hospital, long term care facility or other health care institution.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all resident/patient treatments.
• Assist physicians and the Director of Nursing in exams and treatment.
• Document nurses’ notes, orders, discharge plans and studies.
• Order medications from pharmacy and administer as ordered.
• Perform prescribed treatments and monitor patient care.
• Respond to emergencies including CPR and family notification.
• Inventory and request equipment and supplies.
