Job summary

Friendship Village of Dublin is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (Assisted Living) for the Day Shift to deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in our state-of-the-art health center in Dublin, OH. The role requires current Ohio LPN licensure, CPR, and at least six months in medical/surgical care, preferably geriatric.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice nursing in Ohio (LPN).
• Valid CPR certification.
• At least six months experience in medical or surgical nursing, preferably geriatric.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing.
• Follow written/oral instructions and understand concepts of measurements.
• Flex schedules with 6 week schedule availability.
• Starting wage between $29-31 per hour.
• No travel required, all within the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide 5-Star care to residents.
• Take and transcribe physicians’ orders; use pharmacy fax for medications.
• Assist orientation, teaching and supervision of nursing staff; report to DON.
• Contribute to development of resident care plans and restorative nursing.
• Admit and orient new residents; follow admission procedures.
• Administer medications and perform nursing duties; supervise care for assigned residents.
• Respond to emergency calls and notify physician and family as needed.
• Document care, maintain charts and nursing records.
• Support discharge planning and resident transfers.
