Job summary
A regional healthcare provider in Tifton, Georgia, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The LPN will be part of the IDD Crisis Support Home team responsible for the health and safety of individuals. Duties include providing direct care, administering medications, and maintaining documentation. Applicants must hold a valid Georgia Nursing License and have experience with the intellectually and developmentally disabled. Qualifications
- Valid unrestricted Georgia Nursing License.
- Experience working with individuals in crisis.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to individuals based on treatment plans.
- Administer medications and perform medical treatments.
- Document changes in individuals' progress and report to the treatment team.
Skills
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
Crisis intervention curriculum certification
CPR and First Aid Certification
Supervisory experience
Computer literacy
Education
Valid unrestricted Georgia Nursing License
