The role offers a local hourly wage of $37.50 (W2) and an opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care under supervision within a secure environment. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, documenting care, and supporting admissions, discharges, and transfers.

Qualifications

• AR license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Copy of Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the licensing board, if required.
• Copy of current required certifications (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a RN or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs; report changes.
• Assist with patient assessments and care plan implementation.
• Perform wound care and basic nursing procedures.
• Document care accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, therapeutic environment.
• Follow facility policies and infection control protocols.

Travel Pay

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $18.02, Stipend (Lodging $539.00 + M&I $266.00) = $805.00,

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedAR license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as aLicensed Practical Nurse
• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,).
