Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. in Aberdeen, WA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care in a correctional setting.

You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support individualized care plans under supervision. This full-time role offers local pay of $56.82/hour, a Tuesday-Saturday 05:30-14:00 shift, and benefits including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k), and travel stipends for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted Washington LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent LPN experience within the last 3 years.
• PSV from licensing board or verification agency as required.
• Copy of all current required certifications (e.g., BLS, fit test, immunization records).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of RN or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes.
• Assist with assessments and individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other nursing procedures.
• Document care accurately in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and standards.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.

• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.

• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.

• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.

• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

**Minimum Qualifications **

• Current, valid, and unrestricted Washington license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of 1 yearof recent experience as a LPNwithin the last 3 years.

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,...).
