Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Level 1 for Oklahoma City, OK.

You'll provide direct patient care under RN or physician supervision, administer medications, monitor vitals, and contribute to individualized care plans in a correctional healthcare setting. Qualifications

• Valid permanent Oklahoma LPN license as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or eNLC recognition.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent LPN experience within the last 3 years.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board or verification agency if required and current certifications (BLS, TB, immunizations).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a RN or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition.
• Assist with patient assessments and individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection and basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care in the EMR accurately.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, therapeutic environment and follow infection control policies.

Shift Details:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.

• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.

• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.

• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.

• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

**Minimum Qualifications **

• Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or, Licensed Practical Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC
