Job summary
Southern Health Partners in Craven County Jail, North Carolina, is seeking a full-time LPN for day shift (5:30 AM to 4:00 PM) on a 35-hour weekly rotating schedule. This role offers a sign-on and retention bonus and a chance to provide essential nursing care in a correctional setting.
You will administer medications, perform assessments, document patient conditions, collaborate with healthcare providers, maintain medical records, and respond to urgent needs while upholding safety and policy
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and treatment to patients within the facility
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Perform assessments and respond to patient healthcare needs
- Monitor and document patient conditions and care
- Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent medical needs
