Job summary
The Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board (H-NNCSB) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide hands-on nursing care for individuals served in behavioral health and developmental disability programs. You will monitor health needs, administer medications, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote wellness and quality of life.
Requirements include Virginia LPN licensure and at least one year of medication administration experience in relevant settings.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed LPN in Virginia.
- At least 1 year of medication administration experience in substance abuse treatment, psychiatric setting, or long-term care facility.
- Ability to administer medications and treatments; work with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on nursing care.
- Monitor health needs and administer medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with individuals receiving services for mental health, IDD and SUD; promote health, safety, independence, and quality of life.
