Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Citadel Healthcare is responsible for delivering nursing care to residents under physician orders and in compliance with regulatory standards.

You will document shift reports, administer medications and treatments within your license, and supervise CNAs to ensure safe, high-quality resident care in a long-term care setting.

Strong communication, attention to accuracy, and adherence to infection control are essential in this role; CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Provides and receives nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area (nurse station, medication cart, medication room).
• Directs and supervises day-to-day CNA services to ensure care is rendered per standards.
• Performs resident assessments and reviews care plans for appropriate care.
