Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per standards.
• Performs resident assessments/observations and reviews care plans.
• Takes vital signs and administers catheter care and IV therapy as allowed.
• Documents nurse notes reflecting care and resident responses.
• Maintains safe environment and reports hazards or safety concerns.
• Monitors non-licensed staff and coordinates with the IDT for care plans.
• Communicates with residents, families, physicians and staff as required.
• Ensures infection control standards are followed and complies with HIPAA policies.
