Job summary

NORTH SUFFOLK COMMUNITY SERVICES INC in Winthrop, MA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to oversee health care services for individuals in residential programs. The LPN will ensure regulatory compliance, supervise CNAs, and manage medical follow-up and audits.

Responsibilities include coordinating with PCPs, reviewing medical reports, providing health care training to staff, and leading health care planning meetings across programs.

Qualifications

• MAP certification within five months from date of hire.
• First Aid/CPR certification within five months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with health care services for individuals supported.
• Participate in medical discharge meetings at hospitals.
• Review treatment plans with PCP/Specialists and obtain approvals.
• Review seizure and medical incident reports and advise staff.
• Provide medical training on Diabetes, Nutrition, Seizures, Oxygen and Vital Signs to staff.
• Conduct MAP audits at site yearly and follow MAP policies.
