Qualifications

• Diploma from a Medical Assistant Program and national certification/registration as a medical assistant.
• Or a valid LPN License and Diploma from accredited LPN course.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with direct patient care and clinical duties.
• Perform routine telephone and walk-in triage and relay information to provider/nurse.
• Review and document patient information in the EHR and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Administer vaccines and venipuncture under standing orders or provider direction.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock nursing station, labs, and exam rooms.
