EngageMED, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care for ill or convalescing patients within the clinic. You will work under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, performing essential nursing duties in a hospital/clinic setting.

You will administer medications, monitor patient status, take vital signs, and collaborate with the health care team to develop and adjust care plans. Prior clinical experience is preferred.

Formación

• Postsecondary certificate from vocational school or associate degree in nursing.
• Current Arkansas state licensure required.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications or starts intravenous fluids, noting times and amounts on patients’ charts.
• Observes patients, charts changes, and reports adverse reactions or treatment updates.
• Answers patient calls and determines how to assist them.
• Measures and records vital signs: height, weight, temperature, BP, pulse, respiration.
• Provides basic care such as taking temperatures, dressing wounds, catheterizations, or enemas.
• Evaluates needs with health care team and implements care interventions.
• Records intake/output and uses equipment like catheters and oxygen supplies.
