Job summary

EngageMED, Inc. seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to care for ill or convalescing patients in our Little Rock clinic under supervision of an RN or physician. The role includes medication administration, vital signs, and basic procedures, supporting the care team to meet patient needs.

You will chart interventions, monitor changes, and collaborate on care plans. Arkansas LPN licensure and a postsecondary nursing certificate are required; on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary certificate from vocational school or LPN program.
• Arkansas state nursing license in good standing.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications or starts IV fluids and notes times on charts.
• Observes patients and reports changes or adverse reactions.
• Answers calls and decides how to assist patients.
• Measures and records vital signs: height, weight, temp, BP, pulse, resp.
• Provides basic care: dress wounds, manage bedsores, enemas or douches, alcohol rub, massage, catheterizations.
• Works with health care team to assess needs and adjust care plans.
• Evaluates interventions with the care team.
• Assembles and uses equipment: catheters, tracheotomy tubes, oxygen.
