Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the GI/GU Morehead clinic in Charlotte. You will prep patients, obtain vitals, document health information, and assist physicians with procedures.

You will administer medications under orders and perform supervised clinical tasks while maintaining patient comfort and safety. The role requires completion of an accredited LPN program and a valid LPN license with BLS.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 45 days unless exempt.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and documenting health information.
• Administers medications under physician orders, including immunizations and injections.
• Assists physicians with procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Performs basic clinical tasks under supervision (e.g., wound care, catheterization, EKG).
• Maintains exam rooms, records, and supplies; communicates with care team and patients.
