Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses.
• Orientation/compliance requirements met.
• Competency in patient care and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions; report changes to care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and treatments.
• Administer medications following six rights and facility policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to plan care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and pain management.
