Job summary

Vitality Living Baypoint Village Community is hiring an LPN Charge Nurse for night shifts. You will oversee medication administration, help residents with treatments, and coordinate with physicians to ensure accurate charting and timely orders.

Joining our team means contributing to personalized service plans and resident well‑being. Must hold an active LPN/LVN license with CPR certification, be at least 21, and communicate effectively in English. 401k and attendance bonuses provided.

Qualifications

• Must have active LPN/LVN license in good standing.
• CPR certification required; maintain current status.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administrate or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments.
• Collect, store, and transport specimens for laboratory studies as needed.
• Communicate with physicians by phone, fax, and forms.
• Ensure orders and reports are scanned and filed in charts.
• Support development and revision of service plans with Wellness Director.
• Perform other duties as directed.

LPN Charge Nurse Requirements

• Administrate or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments
• Collect, store, and ensure transport of certain specimens for laboratory studies
• Communicate with physicians via telephone, fax, and Physician Communication forms
• Ensure physician orders, laboratory reports, and other data is scanned and filed in resident charts
• Assist in the development and revision of service plans. Inform Wellness Director of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches
• Perform other duties as directed by Wellness Director

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements
• Maintain current professional license and CPR certification if currently LPN/LVN
• Maintain any other certifications as required by state or provincial regulations
