Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse program.
• Current NC LPN licensure or NLC; BLS required.
• Telephone triage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming patient calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Assess patient concerns within LPN scope and established protocols.
• Provide patient and family education and care-related support.
• Document all patient communications in the EMR.
• Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments.
