Job summary

AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is seeking an experienced scheduling coordinator to manage home visits for field staff and assist with patient care coordination. The role works under the Clinical Manager to maximize care center capacity and ensure efficient utilization of resources.

You will schedule patient services, communicate with patients and staff, and support transfer and intake processes as needed. A healthcare background with a license and strong organizational skills is required.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as LPN/LVN or RN in the state of assignment.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• One or more years of administrative experience in a health care environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient visits, ensuring Oasis/clinical visits are completed timely.
• Prepares and reviews weekly clinician schedules for capacity and productivity.
• Optimizes clinician assignments by geography, discipline and skill needs.
• Manages scheduling communications with patients, field staff and Clinical Manager.
