Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team. You will support RNs with high-acuity patients, perform oral med administration, and handle routine care tasks after the RN has started the initial assessment and care plan.

Sign-on bonus of $2,500 with a 2-year commitment is offered. The position pays $25.73–$41.87 per hour, with competitive benefits for full-time on-site work in central Illinois.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Illinois required.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• College diploma: LPN.

Responsibilities

• Passes medications and administers IV piggybacks under RN supervision.
• Charts assessments and contributes to care plans after RN initial assessment.
• Communicates with physicians/APPs to receive orders and coordinate care.
• Assist with NG tube care and ostomy management as needed.
