Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care teams. The RN provides direct patient care, coordinates the nursing process and collaborates with the healthcare team to meet patient needs.

Eligible candidates may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 3-year commitment and relocation assistance up to $5,000, plus additional support for BSN. External applicants only with more than one year of RN experience encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 1 year (AHA).
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in IL.

Responsibilities

• Performs care for a group of patients using nursing process and unit standards.
• Documents nursing care accurately for team utilization.
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops a care plan.
• Implements and adjusts plan of care with ongoing evaluation.
• Ensures patient and employee safety and communicates to resolve issues.
• Provides feedback for professional development and collaborates with colleagues.
• Identifies learning needs and pursues solutions.
• Maintains department competencies and CVMS patient care.
• Hourly rounding on patients and maintains a clean work environment.
